Opened in 2015, Porro is the second venture from the team behind The Potted Pig. We serve a varied and constantly changing menu of modern British food with Italian influences. As with The Potted Pig, we serve food we love cooking and eating.
Porro embraces the Italian philosophy of celebrating simple, quality ingredients. We make every effort to keep our menus seasonal, which means using as many locally sourced products from independent and local suppliers as possible. There are however some things which can only be sourced from Italy!
Our wine and drinks menu has been carefully selected to match our menus and is reviewed on a regular basis. We carry an excellent range of independently sourced wines as well as a fantastic array of bottled lagers, ales and ciders.
In addition to our main restaurant dining room, we have a unique private dining room available for parties up to 20. Located on the first floor it has been refurbished to offer a space which can be reserved for dining, celebration and for special hospitality- and includes its own mini-bar.
